Now that rookie mini was completed on Sunday 5/5/2019 GM John Dorsey made three more moves on Monday in his quest to upgrade the final roster. It’s still very early in the process and no clear outline as to how the makeup of the final 53-man will take form.
We can look to last years week one roster to get a general idea when the Browns had 26 players on defense and 24 on offense. I look for the roster to stay fluid over the next few weeks as the other 31 teams will also make an adjustment.

Once again using the same make up from the 2018 53-man roster I listed the players on defense that look to be an early lock. Unlike years past very few spots will be available for the incoming rookie class.
Top Row: Players that look to be a lock Bottom Row: Players currently on the roster working to make the final 53.
It will be a battle at each position this year and only the best will be retained. On paper the 2019 season is off to the best start the Browns could have hoped for.
